Rachel's Challenge
Our school has recently started the program Rachel's Challenge. This program is ran by the family of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine shootings. On January 30th, the student body at our school was introduced to the program and challenged to accept "Rachel's Challenge." By accepting the challenge, students promise to:

What a great challenge. One we all should practice in our lives!
Sounds even better than the gallon challenge...in fact it sounds a lot better.
This sounds great. I actually just read a book, 19 Minutes by Jodi Piccoult, about a high school shooting and the history of the boy who did it. It was so scary and real and tragic.
The day after I finished it Evan started preschool that is at a high school. It kind of freaked me out. I sat out front watching kids come in and out and wondered what I would do if I started to hear shots. I got myself all worked up.
That sounds great Mandy. I like sound of that. I would be a much better teacher there after getting some good experience at my new school.
